HIGH FIVE CANCELLATION POLICY

Our goal is to provide you with quality kite surfing lessons and allow you to get out, share the stoke and enjoy Mother Nature’s Playground. We operate based on mutual thoughtfulness and respect. No-shows, late arrivals, and cancellations inconvenience not only our instructors, but our other students as well. Please be aware of our policy regarding this, below:

LESSON CANCELLATIONS

When you book your lesson, you are holding a space on our calendar that is no longer available to our other students. In order to be respectful of your fellow kite surfing learner buddies, please let us know as soon as you know you will not be able to make your lesson. This can be done via WhatsApp, email or on our booking system.

If cancellation is necessary, we require that you contact us at least 48 hours in advance. Lessons are in high demand, and your advanced notice will allow another student access to that precious wind time. If you cancel within this time, you will receive a full refund of you initial payment.

LATE CANCELLATIONS/NO-SHOWS

A cancellation is considered late when the lesson is cancelled less than 48 hours before the appointed time. A no-show is when a student misses a lesson without cancelling. In either case, you will forgo the initial payment for your first lesson.

LATE ARRIVALS

Your lesson time will begin at the time that was confirmed with you. If you arrive after your lesson begins, we will take you out for the remainder of your scheduled lesson period.

In the event of a true, unavoidable emergency, all or part of your initial payment may be applied to future lessons.

WIND CHANGES

Since we are at the mercy of Mother Nature, sometimes we can all do everything according to plan and then the wind does not arrive. If this is the case, we ask you to be patient. Hang out at the school (you are always welcome), chat to fellow students, chat to your instructor. Normally we wait an hour and then make a call. Waiting for wind is all part of the process (unfortunately this part never ends), but let’s make the best of it – we are all in it together!

If you lesson ends up being cancelled due to the lack of wind or unteachable wind conditions, you will not forgo your initial payment. Your lesson will simply be rescheduled to another day that suits your availability. If you cannot make any more lessons, you will be given a full/partial refund (depending on how many lessons you managed to get in).
