Assistant Training Course
The Assistant Training Course (ATC) is for independent kitesurfers who want to improve their riding or make a career out of kitesurfing. Learn the fundamentals of kitesurfing and turn your skills into primary teaching competencies.

First Aid Training
This course helps to acquire essential first aid skills considered vital and useful in daily life and the workplace. It is mandatory to have this or an equivalent course in order to register for the Instructor Level 1 course.

Instructor Level 1
Once you’ve completed your ATC and aquired your First Aid Certificate, you can now become a fully qualified IKO Kitesurfing Instructor. Dive more in depth into the teaching techniques, student safety, tides and trimming that will assist you on your new adventure.

I’m ready, what now?
Click here to book your spot online on our IKO profile, here you will be prompted to pay the IKO course fee ($169 for ATC and $299 for ITC), thereafter, we will send you banking details for you to pay your deposit to High Five in order to secure your spot with us. The deposit is 40% of the remaining price (which will vary depending on which course(s) you are attending).
Once you’ve paid your deposit, congrats, your spot is secure. You will receive furthe communications via email and/or Whatsapp closer to the time of you course, to provide you with on the day details and what to expect.
If you complete the ITC course with us, you will be automatically offered a spot on our freelance instructor team and added to the High Five crew. You can start teaching immediately after you complete the course if you are interested in doing so.
