Event Duration: We’ve finalised the format and need a total competition time of 4 hours and 58 minutes – we aim to do this all in one day.
Alerts: 48-hour Yellow Light call, followed by a 24-hour Green Light call

Rider’s Meeting:
On the day, we will have a riders registration and briefing on competition details (including a confirmation of the judging criteria, schedule, and heat structure).
Registration Fee: A donation of R150 (≈ 8 Euros) upon selection, supporting the competition’s setup, prizes, and operations. Please bring cash on the day.

Spectators:
Everyone in the kiting community is welcome to come and watch/support/get involved. There will be spaces at the venue to sit and watch.
We will also have some merchandise and beverages available on the day.

Judging Criteria:
Each trick will be given a score out of 10 Riders will be judged on their top TWO scoring tricks (totalling 20)
Each judge will be given a 5 point scale to allocate per rider per heat. This is the “sendiness” scale and will be allocated to the rider’s total heat score.
Therefore, heat scores for each rider will be out of a total of 25.

Men’s Division:
Round 1: 6 heats x 8 minutes (3 riders per heat)
Round 2 (Knock Out): 4 heats x 8 minutes (3 riders per heat)
Round 3/Quarters (Knock Out): 6 heats x 8 minutes (2 riders per heat)
Semi-Final: 3 heats x 10 minutes (2 riders per heat)
Final: 1 heat x 15 minutes (3 riders in heat)
Ladies Division:
Round 1: 2 heats x 8 minutes (3 riders per heat)
Round 2/Quarters: 2 x 8 minute heats (2 riders per heat)
Semi-Final: 2 heats x 10 minutes (2 riders per heat)
Final: 1 heat x 15 minutes
